Mallonee, William P. 1840-1902.

William P. Mallonee was born on 30 January 1840 in Ohio and as a youth moved to Decatur, Indiana in Adams County. On 28 August 1862 Mallonee enlisted as a private in "H" Company of the 89th Indiana Infantry. He served for nearly three years and was promoted to corporal. After the war Mallonee returned home, married his sweetheart Rachel Archbold, and moved to his farm. William died on 2 January 1902. From the description of Family materials, ca. 1860-1917.
